Subject: Election Prayer

My Fellow Americans,
      My friend and I have concluded that these elections are pivotal
regarding the continuing prosperity of America.  For men and women of
God to win in this election year will take both a miracle and the
grace of God. We believe that the time is NOW for all Christians to
pray for God to have mercy on our country and spare us from the evil
and corrupt polititians who seek to deceive us with the help of their
friends in the media.
      This call is for families, friends, bible studies, and other
small groups to gather together at least once a week to pray for a
political victory over those who do not serve the lord in words or
deeds. We must ask or we will not have any chance to receive.  We must
pray individually daily and as a group weekly through election day.
Here is a suggested prayer:

   " Dear God, thank you for our great country and for the opportunity
to ask you for your grace and mercy upon our country. We know that we
do not deserve your mercy.  We pray that you will not allow American
voters to be spiritually blinded or deceived by evil and corrupt
politicians and their lies.  Open the eyes of Christians all over
America to the evil and corruption in the White House and both Houses
of Congress.  We pray that you would provide victory to candidates
that would best glorify You and defeat those who completely disregard
You, the Bible, and the values and laws You set forth for
mankind. God, please convict the hearts of your people to turn out and
vote each and every one for candidates that glorify You.  We pray that
the election results would be glorifying to You and would set a
leadership tone which would cause Americans in mass to return to You
as a country and especially individually. We know that we do not
deserve this request but we pray for Your mercy. Please send a great
spiritual awakening and revival to this country and cause people's
hearts to turn to You."

Some bible verses to ponder as you consider voting for President of
the United States in November Remember the Man you elect will be your
President until the Year 2000 a.d.

*Proverbs 14:34 "Righteousness exalts a nation, but sin is a disgrace
to any people."  *Proverbs 28:12 "When the righteous triumph, there is
great elation; but when the wicked rise to power, men go into hiding."
*II Chronicles 7:14 "...and my people who are called by my name humble
themselves and pray, and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways,
then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal
their land."  *II Chronicles 7:19, 20 "But if you turn away and
forsake my statutes and my commandments which I have set before you
and and shall go and serve other gods and worship them, then I will
uproot you from my land which I have given you."
